I would argue that the brain is dark. First of all, until someone cracks open your skull with a sledgehammer (or other similarly scary object), your brain never sees daylight (except through your eyes which actually filter out light from literally reaching your brain). Second, the brain is more of a gray color, hence the term "gray matter." It is not pink, no matter what C.S.I. shows you. And third, I'd say that human nature in general is "dark," thus the brain, the center of our being and the source of our ability to define ourselves, is also dark.

I'm going to guess from your name that you're wondering if the brain is light {good} or dark { bad} I believe that the brain becomes whatever it chooses to become. It can be taught the difference between good and bad, and from that point on the personality chosen is what makes the brain light -good or bad -dark

Umm I don't really understand what you mean...color-wise?? Isn't it light? From what I've seen from models of the human brain and surgeries on TV it is.

When you open up the skull it's a sickly grey pink color. But inside the skull it's all dark.
