I used free AVG, and I just spent $150 to have viruses removed from my computer. The fact is, anything free isn't worth it. The free ones only protect you from 40% of the viruses. I learned my lesson the hard way. The tech recommended Kaspersky, because it blocks 90% of all viruses.

Cox is a cable Internet provider, so they themselves do not make antivirus software. I would recommend the free version of AVG from Grisoft, which is quite good.
