not LESS conflict , but NO conflict at all
now i would like just to comment at the answerer number one to that question who is called "Ben" , i would like to thank him that he made us understand what we don't know about history , but as that is my history i would like to tell him another view , and unfortunatly , my view is almost the view of the united nations itself , but before i say that , let me neglect the blah blah talk of muslim kills eachothers , and muhammad told us to do so (that 's why we succedded in building an empire from atlantic ocean and spain till india , plus indonisia and philipine beside australia , we succeded becuase we kill each others, ok )
now lets move to the main part , the istablishment of Israel :
Look , man : here is a part of an article from the united nations formal web site (not an israili one as the others) it shows how it was a conispiracy to keep palastine from declaring independency in order to to istablish israel instead of it :
"The Palestine problem became an international issue towards the end of the First World War with the disintegration of the Turkish Ottoman Empire. Palestine was among the several former Ottoman Arab territories which were placed under the administration of Great Britain under the Mandates System adopted by the League of Nations pursuant to the League's Covenant (Article 22) .
All but one of these Mandated Territories became fully independent States, as anticipated. The exception was Palestine where, instead of being limited to "the rendering of administrative assistance and advice" the Mandate had as a primary objective the implementation of the "Balfour Declaration" issued by the British Government in 1917, expressing support for "the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people".
During the years of the Palestine Mandate, from 1922 to 1947, large-scale Jewish immigration from abroad, mainly from Eastern Europe took place, the numbers swelling in the 1930s with the notorious Nazi persecution of Jewish populations. Palestinian demands for independence and resistance to Jewish immigration led to a rebellion in 1937, followed by continuing terrorism and violence from both sides during and immediately after World War II. Great Britain tried to implement various formulas to bring independence to a land ravaged by violence. In 1947, Great Britain in frustration turned the problem over to the United Nations. "

and this one showes how israel continue stealing the arab lands, read that :
"After looking at various alternatives, the UN proposed the partitioning of Palestine into two independent States, one Palestinian Arab and the other Jewish, with Jerusalem internationalized (Resolution 181 (II) of 1947). One of the two States envisaged in the partition plan proclaimed its independence as Israel and in the 1948 war expanded to occupy 77 per cent of the territory of Palestine. Israel also occupied the larger part of Jerusalem. Over half the indigenous Palestinian population fled or were expelled. Jordan and Egypt occupied the other parts of the territory assigned by the partition resolution to the Palestinian Arab State which did not come into being.
In the 1967 war, Israel occupied the remaining territory of Palestine, until then under Jordanian and Egyptian control (the West Bank and Gaza Strip). This included the remaining part of Jerusalem, which was subsequently annexed by Israel. The war brought about a second exodus of Palestinians, estimated at half a million. Security Council resolution 242 (1967) of 22 November 1967 called on Israel to withdraw from territories it had occupied in the 1967 conflict.
In 1974, the General Assembly reaffirmed the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination, national independence and sovereignty, and to return. The following year, the General Assembly established the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. The General Assembly conferred on the PLO the status of observer in the Assembly and in other international conferences held under United Nations auspices."

ANOTHER THING IT IS FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE WHO THINK ISRAEL IS CLOSE TO THE ISTABLISHMENT TO USA ITSELF
don't you ever compare the istablishment of israel with the istablishment of america , because : when america was istablished, there was no international law that prevents countries from either war or occuping other countries , BUT , when israel istablished at 1948 , it was after the istablishment of the united nations , which charter approved by all civilized nations in the whole planet , and it was approved that war is prohipited , billigerant occupation of any territory is refused and forbidden , no matter how the invading forces call it ... so the istablishment of israel was illigal , the way it was istablished by was by terrorising arab palastinians poor villigers to either sell or run away from their lands untill the zionists got a land big enough to istablish a country
after istablishment (illigal) they got more palastinian lands by war in 1948 , 1956 wars
then at 1967 war , israel occupied jerosalem for the first time (illigaly too) and took new lands from its neighbours this time ( Egypt , Syria , Lebanon and Jordan) and as they used to they started to build there settlments and get their (innocent) civilians to settle down at those new lands ( it was proved illigal by the security councel resolutions no 242 , 338 ) ( even USA the only blind supporter to israel couldnt veto those resolutions because the situation was too opvious )
until now they are occupying the golan hights (about thierd Syria , and they were pulled back from south lebanon by the continuos strikes by Hizbullah ( the terrorist as THEY call it and anyone who stands against them ) )
innocent israili civilians? arent the arab souls are innocent too ? when killing is happened by air raid it's ok , heroic , but when the one who have no weapons to defend himself , sacrifise his own life , and kill himself in the enemy it considered a terrorism , am i right ? 56 lebaneese INNOCCENT civilians killed today by israel (mostly poor vilagers - many of them women and children), may God pless there souls
I apologize for my english , i'm not a native english speaker

THE reason the Arabs hate us is our long-standing support of Israel.
But that doesn't mean that Hitler eradicating the Jews would have been good. It just means that our decision to help create and support the state of Israel has had some pretty severe consequences for our nation, and we might have fewer foreign policy problems if we hadn't help create Israel, or if we at least had pulled away from that situation a long time ago. I think there would still be conflict over Jerusalem, since it's so holy to Islam, Judaism, and Christianity, but there might be less conflict without a Jewish government entrenched in Palestine.
Either way, the US would be much better off worrying about our own country, which isn't supposed to recognize anyone's religious agendas or preferences.

I strongly detest the way the USA is allied to Israel, but I CANNOT support talk of the extermination of Jews or any other peoples. Hitler without exception is the worst thing that ever happened in this world in recent memory and what's to say he would have stopped at the Jews. He was a Facking Lunatic and the world needs to be careful we don't ever, ever encourage leadership like that again. Hence the reason I am so anti-Bush.

I am a firm supporter of Israel but to answer your question correctly I would have to say probably yes. Not that their wouldn't be troubles in the middle east, not that their would not be any terrorism, there might have still even been a 9/11 but considering that most of the conflict is between Israel and its neighbors you would have to conclude their would be LESS conflict.

I don't think the world hates the US because of it's ties to Israel. The world hates the US because:
In foreign policy we've seen a transition from the founder's vision of non-intervention in the affairs of others to internationalism, unilateral nation building, and policing the world. We now have in place a policy, driven by determined neo-conservatives, to promote American"goodness" and democracy throughout the world by military force-- with particular emphasis on remaking the Middle East.
Using government power to do "good."make the people moral by
regulating personal behavior and choices; and remake the world in our image using armies. They " the gov"argue that the use of force to achieve good is legitimate and proper for government-- always speaking of the noble goals while ignoring the inevitable failures and evils caused by coercion. Not only does the US justify government force, they believe they have a moral obligation to do so.
I believe that is why the world hates the US.We should stay here on US soil.keep US dollars here and keep our noses out of other countries business unless we are asked for our help!

no, the muslims also hate each other. Shia hate Sunni, Arab muslims hate Kurd muslims who hate Turkish muslims who hate Palistinian muslims. and there would still be those christians in Lebanon who would still be attacked. Also Shia and Sunni groups have infighting too; about how devout they are, and what exactly Mohammed said and did. They have been fragmented for about 1000 years, in the 1000s Ozman of the Ottomans entered the muslim world with his mid-asian hordes. Then after about 500 years the Ottoman Empire Conquered all of Arabia, Turkey, Pursia, and most of the Balkans and Muslim Africa bringing relative peace(rebellions and crime still present) to the middle east(now remember these are Turks not Arabs). eventualy after a further 500 years the Ottman Empire became decrepit and unable to control the insane Arabs, so when it became involved in WWI Britain just gave it a firm push, and it went away. The Arabs just created their own seperate nations and used them to fight each other(the palistinians had their own country for like a month, and then Syria took them over) so after the rest of the world finished WWII the muslims were in bad shape, which led to America and Great Britain moving in to make coherent borders(this required trust) but when the US and UK thougth they would kill two birds with one stone by giving the palistinians their own country and using the unsettled land to make Israel the palestinians decided they wanted it all and fought the Israelis-who crushed them the Arabs started not liking the 'West'. And so now the Arab's hate for Jews make them attack Israel to help the Palestinians-who the Arabs hate less.

No. The conflict in the middle east is about one thing and one thing only. People who want power using other peoples lives to get it. The conflict is run by antisocial psychopaths. Hitler was one of those. So the answer is no.

Yes. There would be less conflict but who knows what the next target would be for the Middle East.
Israel has been such a constant problem for them that I have no idea who else they hate.

Yea, there'd be less conflict if he'd irradicated all the Arabs as well.
Lets kill people, that sounds like a good way to stop war.
Last time I posted anything like this, it got removed as inciting violence, so can I give advanced warning that that was sarcastic.
