What are some strange things you ate as a kid?

This is really weird. As a small child, my father used to go hunting and trapping. This was over30 years ago. Anyways I once ate a piece of beaver tail and bear meat. No lie. Don't recall what it tasted like but I'd never touch it today. Actually it's illegal now. Back then, I don't know.

I used to eat sardines straight from the can with my grndpa hen i was under 5...and in grade K I ate a bologna and ketchup sandwich every single day for lunch...can't go near it now..lol

I was too scared to eat anything weird. I like my bread toasted on all of my sandwiches... I also must cut my waffles/pancakes before the syrup is poured... I cried in a restaurant one time. I was like 3.

Back when I was about 5 or 6 years old, I would eat raw bacon out of the fridge. My parents couldn't keep me out of it. Luckily, at some point, I grew out of that.

I don't remember...but my little brother had a peculiar taste for those little bugs that roll up into balls, some call them pill bugs. Guess he thought they were tasty because he sure ate a lot of them!

my little sis used to eat airborne dirt and dust out of this one flower pot in our previous homestead! it became gross. and once i became sposed to be observing her (i became in basic terms like 5 tho yet i propose my mum and dad were in the homestead in simple terms in a diff room) and they were like shes no longer ingesting the airborne dirt and dust is she and im like no yet i wasnt quite paying interest (short interest span) and he or she became ingesting airborne dirt and dust and that i have been given in problem. oh and once both human beings ate this rat poison that regarded like chocolate... that didnt end too nicely hehe it became a relaxing vacation to the hospital.
