The only land that Israel has been asked to give up is land Israel is illegally occupying.
I would suggest you study the history of the region and the main conflicts. You might actually learn something. You might learn there's an active Jewish Israeli anti-occupation movement that is demanding that Israel leave the occupied territories. They do 'go and volunteer to protect murderers, or block tanks with their body's'.

oh the irony.
israel exists because hitler tried to take over europe and obliterate certain groups living in areas under his control. we fought the nazis... because they invaded sovereign nations in violation of treaties and slaughtered helpless civilians. once upon a time we thought that was wrong.
just answer one question, what is it that makes us americans? which side did we rush in to aid?
if we become more like israel, we will become less like america. was it just a chunk of land? or was it ever something more?
