Okay, All winter my skin was fine, I had like no acne. Now that its summer and its a lot hotter, my face is breaking out badly. I sweat a lot from the heat and humidity, and I just wipe it off with my hand, is that a bad idea? I get a lot of cystic ance, not sure if that is named right, around my chin and I think its from wiping the sweat with my hand and shirt, how can I stop sweating so much or not use my hands? Do you sweat more when you are dehydrated? Should I drink more water?

you should definitly drink more water.. water will help clear up and hydrate your skin and will also cause your sweat to be less acidic which will cause less breakouts.

you might want to take a cue from your great grandmother and carry a hankerchief in your purse or pocket, this will give you something clean to wipe your face with when you sweat.

could it be something you're putting on your skin. do you wear sunscreen regularly, could you be allergic?

Fran Cook-Bolden, M.D., a cosmetic and laser dermatologist and director of the Ethnic Skin Specialty Group in New York City. And sweat can mix with dirt, oil and bacteria, leading to breakouts.

Carry kleenex or something to wipe you skin off with. It is going to sound crazy but clean you face twice a day even with soap if that is all you have. Then believe it or not put on a moisturiezer. I know that sounds crazy but I wish I had listened when I was you age.

Do not touch your face and do not apply even sun block on the area for now. Also avoid having spicy and greasy food. You should also drink a lot of water.
