I think you are confusing accent and dialect: Standard English is a dialect, it can be (and is) spoken with any accent. It is part of the National Curriculum now that kids in school must be taught about about SE: that it is one dialect among many, and that regional variations are just as valid, if not always suitable for use in essays or other formal contexts.

Now pig Latin is however pretty bizarre

I'm intrigued by how many places are in England that I never realised- India, Mexico, NY...
My favourite accent is Bristolian I think it's hilarious, I used to work in a local pub there with all the old boys coming in and sometimes I really had to stifle a laugh!! Now I'm living in Cheltenham and the local accent has to be heard to be believed, I love it!

It amazes me that people in general, put London and Essex into one bracket.
I don't speak Cockney,
I don't drop my letters,
and I don't speak as though I never learned to speak English properly
I also don't speak in rhyming slang,
People can be pretty offensive as a whole, it all depends on what your tolerance is for different counties and countrys alike.
I struggle to understand certain regional accents, but to say either one is the worst, depends on your status i think.
I'd say I'm a cross between Bridget Jones, Edina monsoon, Patsy and if i want to lower myself enough I can knock spots off kathy Burke
:O)
so in summary, Stephen H up there choosing essex? he can suck my dick

Actually I don't like the English accent from England. It sounds like they're stuttering the whole time.

The worst is Rhode Island (Vo Dilun). A stinky brooklyn accent sounds like mozart in comparison! :-)
