I wanted an iPod but I didn't want to pay $.99 a dang song. Do I have to buy iTunes?

you need itunes to charge and keep your ipod updated..its the only thing that workss but you can get songs from anywhere you want and just transfer or drag them over....i use limewire..emule..bitnet and i have no problems

itunes is a free program. buying songs off itunes cost 99 cents or $9.99 an album. you can also use your cds/ mp3

YES, YOU CAN ONLY USE ITUNES BUT YOU CAN YOU OTHER PROGRAMS TO GET SONGS FOR FREE AND THEN IMPORT THOSE SONGS INTO ITUNES
