Pregnancy tests should only be relied on if they are read within a few minutes of testing.

You should take another at home test or see your doctor if you still suspect you are pregnant.

Take the test again. Any test left anywhere for several days is no longer accurate. However, you can take a test too early for the test results to be accurate in a urine sample as a blood test is more reliable at the earliest stages of pregnancy. Unless Tubal pregnancies run in the family, doctors don't usually recommend the blood tests as so many things can cause spontaneous abortion in the first 6 weeks before most people would know they are even pregnant.

It depends. Did you follow the test instructions correctly? On most pregnancy tests it says not to read the results after 10 min or so has passed. The results could be corrupt.
My advice to you is to go buy another pregnancy test and try again. Follow all directions and read the results only when you're supposed to. If it comes back negative and you still just "feel" pregnant, then I suggest going to see a doctor to be sure. Sometimes your body just knows before a test can pick up the pregnancy hormone.

usually a pregnant test shows u the results in less than 3 mins. After 3 mins, the results can be wrong. So just to be on the safe side. Get another test and check for the results

if the test was negative after the time they tell you to wait . . it is a negative test . . don't rely on the results after that time . . if you still have not had your period, take another test with your first urine of the day . . if it is still negative and still not getting your period, ask your doctor to do a blood test . . some hcg levels are only picked up with the blood work

You either didnt wait long enough or because the test was exposed it shows a false positive. Take another test in a few days and see.

Read the directions, most tests say not to read a negative test after so many hours after testing.

Yes you could still be pregnant. It might just not be showing up in a urine sample. Get a blood test done.

take another one. The stuff on the tester just changes color after being exposed to urine then dried out. even if it was positive it would have gotten darker with time.

Get a new test and take it. Yours dried out, and that might have changed the color.
