i suggest that israel would not be so quick to use armed force if uncle sam adopted a neautral point of view to the conflicts that arise in this region

You are correct. Israel depends on the US for material military support as well as general support. It is a client state of the US.

I suggest you do not know the Israeli's.
They have one of the most advanced Defence Forces on earth.
USA does stay neutral. They are not interferring in military action in Palestine. They only get involved in Peace Talks.
I think your idea is fantasy.
** YES America supplies arms to Israel, who supplies the Palestinians? Iran? Syria? Restraint?? Yes maybe Israel should learn some restraint, but then again, perhaps the Palestinians should learn diplomacy
What do you suggest America should do? Leave Israel by itself? In the middle of such hostility and hatred towards them? Stand back and watch Israel be wiped off the earth?

Israel is scared of nobody, they have fought 3 wars and won them all in 6 days, amazing is it not 6 days people, if the world can't leave them in peace then the countries that support these terrorists must suffer the consequences of their cowardly acts, kidnapping of soliders is wrong. The above 2 posts (above Satan) America gives more military aid to Israel then it does aid to all other nations combined, in excess of billions of dollars..impartial? Neutral?
How can it be a war of survival? Israel is the most heavily armed state going, this is just a military response gone way to far. Israel needs to learn restraint

What part of fighting for their survival do you not understand?
Hams, Palestinian groups, Iran, Syria and others are all dedicated to wi[ping out Israel and Jews.
Hamas has publicly stated it deliberatley targets schools and children.
If the USA did not support them it would be out on it's own and divorced from the rest of the thinking world. Why do you think the UN just urges restraint on Israel?
Have you no shred of humanity?

I use a US quote as they are donating at least $1 Billion a year to arm Israel with weapons of mass destruction and selling them the same.

What **** most of you people talk. More than likely Americans that think that the rest of the world couldn't cope without the Good old USA. Take your heads out of your asses and look at what is going on outside of America.
Of course Israel do not rely on anyone . They do what they think is correct and for the good of their Country and people, and what they are doing is correct. And they do not require the help of the US

Please pay attention to what is going on in the world.
Hamas and Hezbollah will not make peace with Israel because they don't think they have the right to exist on this earth.
Iran and Syria and others support these "terrorists" with close to $100 M annually.
Do a search on these topics and you will soon realize that Islamic fundamentalists want to either convert or kill all of us infidels.

Uh, to fight for their very survival? Yeah, I think they just might. Y'know, this is the typical mindset of the media-fed liberal...the red diaper doper babies. They don't fight because they like blowing things up. They don't launch defensive operations to impress their wives. They don't pre-empt aggressors because it makes them feel powerful. This isn't a game like your reality. They fight for SURVIVAL. When someone kills their people and destroys their property, they defend their national interests. Strange idea to someone with such a limited understanding of basic concepts, I'm sure. But try. This is real life. They defend or die. Join us in the real world, huh?
