Neither is a good option, but if you put a gun to my head and make me pick one, I'd take Horn. No, Smith. No, Horn. NO...PLEASE DON'T SHOOT!!!
I'd say pass on these two geezers and take a flyer on a talented 2nd or 3rd year youngster. Draft upside...there will always be cagey veterans lying around the waiver wire.

I am going to say Horn.
Smith has the better chance of staying healthy, but with Lelie and now Walker in Denver the ball will not get to Smith as much.
Horn has health issues, and with Bush and Brees youcant expect a wide receiver to do as well.
Horn is a prideful guy and wants to represent New Orleans fans well after katrina so i think he will step up and shine this year. Horn is rated higher and has more trade value.
I would rather trade them both for either Lee Evans or Reggie Brown! Both are the #1 option on their teams and can be traded for Horn.

Rod Smith is one of the most underated players in the league. He has rapport with his QB and the addition of Javon Walker opens things up...but Walker will not be as explosive as he was due to his blown ACL last year.
Horn had a poor year due to injuries last year. N.O. is still a mess after Katrina making it difficult on all of the organization and he must develop rapport with accurate but weak armed Drew Brees.
I'll say THIS year Rod Smith...will edge out Horn (though my source for fantasy info. has Horn ranked higher)

Rod Smith. The team behind him is much better than the Saints.
