if you look at the teams there are players from all over the world on all the teams. So it is not just American born players on the teams. Plus besides a few Asian and Latin countries the other areas of the world do not care about Baseball. Starting with the next 2012 Summer Olympics baseball will not be one of the games that will be played because the rest of the world does not care or play it that much.

No one had a problem with it when it first started, so why should they change it now? Just to be politically correct? Well, some things shouldnt have to change just because people who exist today think it is wrong. It really is not that big of a deal and many countries are represented in baseball in the United States. Its just a continuing tradition that shouldnt have to cater to countries the US introduced the sport to....I'm not even really a baseball fan.

They have a Canadian team or two in there, so I guess that makes it known that Canada and the US are the countries in the world.
