it depends on which you took

Tylenol or anything with acetaminophen--liver failure (that includes Excedrin)

Advil or ibuprofen--slowly bleeding to death

aspirin--slowly bleeding to death (includes Excedrin)

If you take too much Excedrine you will have killer heartburn or stomach upset, ringing ears & you will be jittery due to the caffeine in it. You can take enough aspirin to kill you, but you would probably get sick & throw up before that would happen. It has been known to happen, tho.
Tylenol might not make you so sick at first, but it is very toxic to the liver. There once was a young lady who tried suicide by a tylenol overdose, and survived the overdose but was dead within a couple of weeks due to liver failure. Not something to play around with. And never mix tylenol with alcohol (beer, etc) - doubly toxic to the liver.

Dear Yuriy G., taking more Tylenol, Excedrin, Advil, Motrin, etc than the recommended dosage (which is usually 650mg of Tylenol, and 400mg of Motrin), can be very harmful. Tylenol is metabolized by your liver and Motrin is metabolized by your liver and kidneys. Taking too much can overload your liver and or kidneys causing them to fail. Severe liver and kidney damage can even result in overdose and death. Also, taking to much of these medications can effect your hearing and be toxic. (This is called ototoxicity). You may be thinking you cannot overdose on something you buy over the counter but you can. Also, read on the back of your Tylenol bottle. It should say something about liver damage and a poison control center's number in the event of overdose. You should not take more than 4,000mg (4grams) of Tylenol per day. Hope this answers your question. from, Jill,R.N.

I accidentally got the whole bottle of advil. I was 15. I had my stomach pumped, and had to drink stuff that tasted like charcoal. It turned my mouth black for two weeks. It was horrible.

If you have taken to many just in general as in everyday for the past month you can cause your stomach to bleed and ulcers will form. Over a longer period, say years, the pills will cause liver damage and blood problems. with an overdose at one time you will get nausea, vomiting, sweating, pain and possible seizures. you better hit the ER for that one.

You can die, either then, or later. They are very toxic to your liver (tylenol and advil), and if you overdose maybe they can save you in time.

Why you are asking this question? I hope it's not to hurt yourself. There are always better ways out of bad situations, and damaging yourself (or others) isn't one of them. Maybe I'm reading this all wrong but, think it through. Good luck.

You pass out, get your stomach pumped, eat a lot of nasty charcoal ( to absorb the toxins in your body) and you're rather shaky afterwards. No, before you ask, I haven't tried it.

if you take 80 pills in an hour, you could destroy your liver. You will know because your skin will turn yellow.
