Yes, we are still alive and kicking.
I say this as a 27 year old woman who considers herself a feminist and knows a number of feminists.
The word "feminist" just isn't used anymore because conservatives, Christians and men in general have taken the word and given it a negative connotation.
However, the idealism behind the women and the movement still exist.

Well after the men said ok ladies you can be treated like men there was the Gulf war.
Then all of a sudden most of the females in the military got pregnant.

OOPS, sorry GUYS, I can't go to war pregnant now can I ?

That put the KABOSH on the equal rights crap.

Face it, in most ways women are equal,
but not in all ways, and men are not all ways equal to women.

We have to accept and use each others abilities accordingly and give up this silly battle between the sexes.

The true feminists, the old-style feminists, who wanted equal rights and equal opportunity, have largely left the movement. They have been drowned out by the vocal, violent, anti-male minority which has since hijacked the name "feminist," and which believes in better rights and more opportunity for women and in oppressing men either in retaliation to the sexism of past generations or from a belief that women are inherently superior.
