My girlfriend told me I was cold and callus because I said that I would not be miserable, when she was miserable. I said I would be sympathic to her problem and would help her in any way could, but I would not be miserable with her.

I tell my wife all the time that just because she is miserable doesn't mean that everyone has to be. If I am having fun and she has the same opportunity to have fun and she isn't, that is her problem, not mine.

It seems to me that she is looking for either a little control over you or she is trying to feel you out and see how you truly feel about her. You need to figure out or ask her which so you know where you stand with her.

I'm sure its not what you said but the way you said it. Perhaps you can be cold and callus.

how old are you? and how old is your girlfriend? it sounds like you two are too young to be involved in a relationship with any depth.
you SOUND like you're trying to be mature, and it sounds like she's too dependent upon you emotionally...(if you don't feel like I feel then you really don't love me...!!!!)
