Yes. The result would be a negative number. IF you devide 2 negative numbers together the result is a posative number. The reason for that. Take -4 devided by -2. It takes 2 (negatvie 2's) to equal -4. EX: -2 + (-2)= -4.

So, -4 devided by -2 =2.

Hence -60 devided by 3 is -20.

-20 + (-20) + (-20) = -60

yes, all negative numbers are divisible (by any other number...'cept zero).

think about this...

-1 and 1 are factors of -60.

-60 is divisible by 3, or 3 divides -60 (3| -60)

since (3)*(-20) = -60.

yes -60 divided by 3 is just -20. when you divide a negative by a positive all you need to do is pretend the negative sign is not there, divide and at the end put the negative sign on the answer.

This is an extremely interesting question one I feel best suited to answer going back in time to a discussion me and my good friend Albert once had. See Mr. Einstein and I were boppin some fools in Halo and I was like yo Alby, if i jump off the world 3 times thats a negative 3 kills and if u kill 3 players u are better than me. Alby just looked at me and said, "You crazy fool". Hope that helps :)

Yes, they divide just like positive numbers would. One trick you can use is that if one of the two numbers you're dividing by is negative, the quotient (answer) will be negative as well. If both are negative, the quotient will be positive.

yes. the same as positives. if there is a negative being divided by a positive or visa versa the answer will end up negative. but if the problem is negative divided by negative than just do the problem normally.
