D. Wade, he carried his team to the championship. Followed closely by LeBron who was one offensive rebound away from carrying the Cavs to the finals.

D wade better than Kobe??? 1 thing suk me, no fukin way is he better than kobe bryant...this guy is sumhow able to pull of scoring champ and all defensive team in the one season and whats that o yea almost forgot he made it to the all nba 1st team and wade was in the 2nd....wow and wot a coincedence they're both shooting guards gee isnt that strange??? what else...yep kobe is the youngest starter of all time won a championship at the youngest age as well ( which soon turned into 3) was at the time the yungest all nba player and probably would have been awarded mvp if it wasnt for someone accusing him of rape!!! Kobe had also scored 81 points last season...the 2nd highest in nba history (which to be frank stat wise was actually better than chamberlains 100 point game because he used to tip in other team mates shots when they were going in anyway just to get more points, this is now illegal) I do believe though that when Kobe's time is up Lebron will step up and fill the void, not wade, but until then kobe is and shall remain the best player now and one of the greatest in nba history.

PS
All of You shouting Wade are you aware that he asked kobe to teach him how to play good defense this off season...no??? ok, just a thought...

To anyone who didnt awnser Shaq to this question you really know nothing about NBA basketball. Comeon D-Wade when Shaq was in LA his team didnt even make the playoffs, Kobe besides cheating on his wife will never win another championship without a dominate bigman or two. In fact the NBA revolves around bigmen If Lebrons team cant find him some help he will win nothing at all as well. Tim Duncan is the only other choice. What does he have to do (Shaq) to prove to you people that he is the man ALL THE OTHER PLAYERS IN THE NBA KNOW THIS.

Sorry they made the playoffs without Shaq

Lebron james is the NBA's top player. all of you suck that put D-Wade as the best because for 1 all of you are front runners for liking the Heat, second is that without Shaq, Gary Payton, and Alonzo Mourning, their team wouldn't even have made it to the NBA playoffs! Lebron is carrying the Cavs by himself. Iverson, Kobe, KG, and Vince Carter are better than D-Wade, and none of them have even been menchened yet! You all should look at the statistics and then post before you just say someone that everyone just so happens to love, and right now is arguably the most popular player.

At this particular time Wade has to be the top player in the NBA.
Yes, he had a strong supporting cast, but during crunch time he stepped up and carried his team on his back like great players do. If you think about it he won the championship with an aging Shaq. Kobe had Shaq in his prime. Lebron has yet to win a championship and has yet to carry his to team deep into the play-offs.

I think it's between Kobe and LeBron. I'd say Kobe though. He avg. 35.4 pts. a game . This was the most in 19 years. He's the only one to avg. more than 35 and still have like 6 asst. a game and 6 rebs. He's not really selfish, but he has to take the bulk of the shots because no one else on his team can score. He faces double and triple teams everynight and makes them look crazy. To top it off he's on NBA first team defense. Something only he and MJ have at this point. Scoring Champion and 1st team defense in the same season.

Kobe Bryant. Led the league in scoring with the highest average since 1986. Scored 81 points in a single game, the second highest in history. Oh and eh, take a look at this. You'll understand... http://youtube.com/watch?v=pwjzkel8ioA&search=kobe%20bryant-%20remember%20the%20name

Lebron, no doubt. If he switched teams with Wade Miami would have been even better, and the Cavs wouldn't have been nearly as good.
