If women loved sports: Ladies Night Out would be at the sportsbar and sportsbars would have dance floors and serve better salad and healthier food...better quality liquor, there would be sports magazines, geared towards women, that feature gossip and playgirl-like photos of athletes, women would spend less time inthe kitchen.
If men loved shopping: women would get more gifts, women would have more free time because the men would do the grocery shopping and buy the kids clothing..., women would complain that men are always out shopping with their friends, women would say, "how come you never wanna go shopping with me" and "the only reason you don't take me is because you want to flirt with that woman at the [such and such] store"

I'm a women I love sports, but if I didn't love shopping and only men did, I would be wearing some real funky clothes, and we'd always be eating pizza and cheeseburgers. which is good in some ways but not for our heart.

Everyone would be a lot happier than they are right now (assuming that women would still love shopping and men would still love sports).

well i love sports-- basketball, bowling, running, ping pong, volleyball, dancing.. on top of shopping. and i have loads of male friends who love shopping as well, on top of sports and car stuff.

i guess it's a stereotype we made that has changed over time without the world noticing it much. sports and shopping have become unisex-- and a one-size-fits-all kind of thing. otherwise, you would have already seen women-only shopping arcades and men-only sports arenas-- both of which will never survive.

It already happens. There are men who like shopping and female athletes and (where I live) rabid football and Nascar fans.

So I guess it would be the same as always.
