when i try to install somthing on the sims 2 it says "please double-click a custom content file to install the content" what dose that mean?

Sims 2 downloads/files can be zipped, rarred, or packaged in a sims2 installable package. The sims2 installable package looks like a little blue icon/computer and it will be where ever you downloaded your file to. Just double click on this icon and it will install itself automatically into the correct sims2 file. If you downloaded files that are in zip or rar format, you have to extract them to your sims2 downloads folder.
