Yes. I remember seeing something on TV once and these sort of people were called "emotional vampires". They do not do it on purpose but have the effect of bringing you down and draining your energy. I suppose some places can be like that too if you get bad vibes from them.

Yes. Those people are called psychic vampires. It means they drain your energy on purpose or without knowing it. The best way is to stay out of large crawds.
