Yeah, I do. We're always asking why they come here if they are against homosexuality, and I realize that since our sections are so close together, they catch our questions. Now, what compels them to answer them, I have no idea....
Hey, biwashington, I'll get off my high horse when you get off yours.

Nope, I don't agree.
A lot of the backlash against LBGT people and our rights today come from people who use religion to justify their prejudice. I think we need to be where they are, so that they can learn to like us, or at least deal with us. So that they can see that some of us do go to church on Sunday for reasons other than just to find somebody cute in the chior, and so that one day we can live in relative harmony with those who disagree with our views.
In the meantime, there are so many GLBT friends out there who were brought up in the church and have felt betrayed or abandoned by the Church and even by God, that I also think we have to hold religion close to this section so that those persons receive the message that God is on who loves ALL his children, and that there are ways for a gay, lesbian, bisexual or Trans person to come to God without fear or shame.

My idea is for everyone to stop their freaking whining about it. Christians do wonder in here because it is in the same section. they do it because it is their duty to minister the word of God and Jesus. Christians will go out of their way to spread the word, just as most gays go out of their way to whine about Christians.
But buy all means more separation is a good idea, let's cast ourselves even further into the darkness and put up more of a wall between us that there already is.
Gays strive to be treated "NORMAL" that means having to deal with all the toils AND triumphs as well. DEAL WITH IT! You want to be treated NORMAL but you don't want the bad things as well. WHA WHA WHA, You have to take the good with the bad honey.
I might also add that there are a lot of Gays that go into the Religious section and bash Christians, so Gays as a whole have to be just as Guilty at Christians as a Whole, correct? NO, get off your high horse and just be happy living your life.
if it bothers you so much you are free to leave.
In response to your add-
I can not be a TRUE CHRISTIAN because of my life style. I don't pretend to preach because of the life I lead, i am just saying that MORE SEPARATION is not what the GLBT needs. You are just going to have to deal with the consequences of your actions and life your life to the fullest.

We need to give them back what they give. So I push http://godmademegay.com and other sights that push the facts they they don't know what they say. These are kids that still believe what they have been told by there bigots parents. Someday they will learn that there is more than one meaning to what they read in the bible and then they will learn to understand all things before they speak ignorance. And until then the world will still go around.
LIKE YOU, I TAKE THE BIBLE SERIOUSLY!
Many good people build their case against homosexuality almost entirely on the Bible. These folks value Scripture, and are serious about seeking its guidance in their lives. Unfortunately, many of them have never really studied what the Bible does and doesn't say about homosexuality.
We gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Christians take the Bible seriously, too. Personally, I've spent more than 50 years reading, studying, memorizing, preaching, and teaching from the sacred texts. I earned my master's and doctoral degrees at a conservative biblical seminary to better equip myself to "rightly divide the word of truth." I learned Hebrew and Greek to gain a better understanding of the original words of the biblical texts. I studied the lives and times of the biblical authors to help me know what they were saying in their day so I could better apply it to my own.
I'm convinced the Bible has a powerful message for gay and lesbian Christians -- as well as straight Christians. But it's not the message of condemnation we so often hear.
I'm not expecting you to take my word for it, though. I ask only that you'd consider what my research has taught me about the passages used by some people to condemn God's gay and lesbian children. Then decide for yourself...
MY FIRST PREMISE:
Most people have not carefully and prayerfully researched the biblical texts often used to condemn God's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender children.
As you may know, biblical ignorance is an epidemic in the United States. A recent study quoted by Dr. Peter Gomes in The Good Book found that 38 percent of Americans polled were certain the Old Testament was written a few years after Jesus' death. Ten percent believed Joan of Arc was Noah's wife. Many even thought the epistles were the wives of the apostles.
This same kind of biblical ignorance is all too present around the topic of homosexuality. Often people who love and trust God's Word have never given careful and prayerful attention to what the Bible does or doesn't say about homosexuality.
For example, many Christians don't know that:
Jesus says nothing about same-sex behavior.
The Jewish prophets are silent about homosexuality.
Only six or seven of the Bible's one million verses refer to same-sex behavior in any way -- and none of these verses refer to homosexual orientation as it's understood today.
Most people who are certain they know what the Bible says about homosexuality don't know where the verses that reference same-sex behavior can be found. They haven't read them, let alone studied them carefully. They don't know the original meaning of the words in Hebrew or Greek. And they haven't tried to understand the historical context in which those words were written. Yet the assumption that the Bible condemns homosexuality is passed down from generation to generation with very little personal study or research. The consequences of this misinformation are disastrous, not only for God's gay and lesbian children, but for the entire church.
The apostle Paul says, "Test all things and hold fast to that which is good." By reading this little pamphlet, you are taking Paul seriously.

Whilst it is good to hear and have access to all views it is unpleasant to have people try and force their views on others.
Whilst the thought of separating them from the general category is at first glance attractive it really goes against free speech.
Perhaps a better solution would be to have an abuse category to cover it with the sanction of excluding violators after X number of complaints.

Right is right and wrong is wrong. Christians are NOT narrow minded. Narrow minded means that one can only see things from their own viewpoint. Christians do not look at anything from their own fleshly views. Christians are guided in the spirit of God. The are open minded enough to be submissive to Christ. They follow the laws of Christ. They follow the laws of man. They follow the moral codes of Christianity. It is those who attack Christianity that are narrow minded, they cannot open their eyes and minds to see Christs way and not their own. Christians walk in the spirit and not in the flesh. There are people who are trying to clean up the world, while others are trying to corrupt the world. Whether it be sexual sin, or any other sin, it is still sin. No Christian can agree with promoting sin in the world or turning their head to it. These sexually & spiritually confused Gayes need guidance, they are crying out for help. Addiction to sexual sin is like any other addiction...they do it because they think it gives them physical pleasure and they do not face how it devours their soul. They keep doing it because they become addicted to it. They do not want to face the fact that they are living wrongly because it requires them to stop the behavior and change their life. Many of these gayes are disgruntled..it shows in how they talk to the Christians who are trying to help them. Alcoholics, drug addicts, gamblers, etc are all addicts too. Like homosexual behavior, these other addicts also get upset when they are faced with an intervention to go and get help. They do not want the help, they insit they do not need the help, yet everyone else can see they desperately need to get help. The sickness of the mind has blinded them from seeing the truth. It is not bashing, it is done with great love and great concern. Those who try to help alcoholics, drug addicts et al are not bashing them, just as those who try to help homo's get help are not bashing, they are concerned and want them to get well. Addiction is a disease, it spreads to others who are confused, etc. We need to stop the break down of society. Satan is the king of deception, he puts perferted thoughts in your heads, and you are not strong enough to identify it and you let those thoughts work on your mind and then you act on them. The more you sin the easier it gets, until finally the devil owns your soul. Sexual sin defiles your own body, mind and soul. It is an abomination to God. There is no good, down the road from this lifestyle.

Odd, I feel no desire to go bash them. I do comment occasionally because I also happen to be spiritually active -- and educated in theology. I manage to do that somehow without being demeaning and insulting to them unless they are first demeaning and insulting to me.
The reality is that moving the section will not help -- and it feels to me like retreating, appeasing -- and I have too good a grasp of where appeasement leads. Let them learn to be polite and reasonable. It's better for everyone.

Nope, i do no longer. Marriage is a biblical agency nonetheless, and that certainty has been lost in civil unions obtainable to maximum Western worldwide places who enable freedom of religion. The bible is amazingly, very clean on marriage being between a guy and a woman (makes you ask your self what life became into like back then huh? LOL pondering how uncertain it is on different concerns in society) and subsequently as a spiritual or sacramental marriage -- sure, could be as bible states. My best argument is obtainable in that churches could not at all be compelled to marry comparable intercourse couples. branch of Church and State back, basically yet another attitude. even nonetheless, you requested if I certainly have a non-religious argument, the respond is not any. people who love one yet another could be absolute to one yet another. extraordinarily in the event that they have infants.

If it were put to a vote, I'd ultimately probably vote for a move, but at the same time, it shouldn't have to come down to that. People SHOULD be able to be humane and respectful, even with the anonymity (yeah, can't spell that) of the internet.

Sometimes people gain wisdom in the most unexpected places.
It is good to have diverse answers.

The Bible does not accept homosexuality. The Bible does not change when our culture changes. Some say that is good and some say that is bad. There is only one way of living as a Christian. That aside, it is only God's place to decide who goes to heaven, only he knows what is in peoples hearts. Not our place to judge.
