Bush is supportive of Israel for two reasons
Because they have all ways been one of our strongest Allies.
and Bush realizes that is in our best interest to maintain, at all costs that strong never ending alliance. Particularly given Israels
location in the Mideast.
And secondly, Bush knows that without the strong support we offer Israel. There are a number of countries out there that would
like to reenact the Holocaust a second time. And he knows this can never be allowed to happen again.
Bush, in this regard has shown a great deal of courage.
I am all ways amazed at how courageous the Israeli's are.
A small Mideast country surrounded by nations that for the most part that would love to see Israel just disappear.
Yet in spite of those odds, they stand their ground
they fight for what is theirs and defend their borders.
The resolution that the USA vetoed was a subtle statement
by the administration. At a critical time when Israel needs our
support, we gave it, and I'm glad we did.
It might make the situation worse, hopefully not
It does telegraph to all concerned, where we (USA) stand on the issue.

Obama hasn't suggested or executed some thing to point that he would not help Israel. purely the different. What you're reciting is a suitable wing conversing element without foundation in actuality. in case you've discovered some thing this previous week that's that Ahmidinejad, or any president, isn't the real means in Iran and in no way has been. The clerics were calling the images for 30 years, rather even as it is composed of concerns of protection and the nuclear application.

Every U.S. president has been a strong supporter of Israel since jews with U.S. help occupied Palestine. The same for every serious candidate. Jew's run the media and finance here and in all White founded nations thus they run the governments. They will not allow any candidate to get into office that is not under their control. I government is ONLY concerned with jewish anti-White intrests. Our visable leaders are just puppets under jew control. That is why we have only been involved in 1 war (the war with Mexico in 1848) that was in the intrests of this nation and it's people. I senator and 1 congressman has written a book about jew control of congress. Naturally the jews would not publish it so it is hard to find. If you are interested let me know and I will look to find the name of the book and where you can get it. I have a copy somewhere. They were run out of congress after exposing the jew's.

Bush makes poor decisions, in spite his political support of Israel. Privately he probably wouldn't support Israel at all. Then you can surmise that we freaking invaded a country unjustly, and so...Israel attacks another country. It's okay because US and Israel are the "good" guys, and it must be right.
And to simply sacrifice all the innocent Muslims to save only 3 Israeli soldiers, who will probably be executed soon anyway. And certainly it's not about anti-semitism, it's about what's truly JUST in this world.

Can you be anti-Israel without being anti-Semitic? But that is another story for another day. Israel is a tiny democracy, and the ONLY democracy in the region surrounded by enemies, most of whom want to eliminate Israel into the sea.President Bush is right when he says Israel has the right to defend herself.

I'm not a fan of Bush's at all....but for once this is not just him. This country has stood behind Israel since Israel was created as a nation...and not only that, but we give them tons in foreign aid. So...a longtime friend... but why? Guilt that we didn't get into ww2 earlier??? Anyone else?

Many evangelical Christian religious whackos like Bush actually believe that the establishment of the Jewish State and the impending Armageddon is necessary for the Second Coming of Christ.
I'm serious.

And you prefer him to support Hamas and Hezbollah? You want 9-11 to be everyday and everywhere? If it was YOUR friend or relative hit by terrorists, you would be looking different at the situation.

when you have a powerful jewish lobby that runs american and americans lives, that are loyal to isreal, then you are under control. they show you what they want you to hear, and watch on tv, what you read in the papers. it's up to yourself to filter out the b.s. and understand whats real, and whats not.
