My husband is serving overseas and none of my friends have the same music interests. I really want to go!

Rob Zombie at Red Rocks... it's about a 200 mile drive for me, but I've always wanted to see a concert at Red Rocks.

No! It doesn't make you a loser! Just mingle with the crowd. Go and have fun!

NO! I just went to a show by myself last night, actually...my ears are still ringing. (I was 20 feet away (at the most) from Cowboy Mouth (great music, but ANNOYING lead singer/drummer) and the Gin Blossoms, which is who I was actually there to see)

About 5 months ago I moved from Michigan to Cleveland, OH and of the people that I know through my job and stuff, no one has the same music interests and/or passion for concerts that I do, so I go by myself. I always end up talking to random people, so it turns out well.

Have fun!!

Of course not! You can meet others at the concert who obviously share the same music interests as you do.

You're not a loser, but you may feel lonely at the concert by yourself...plus, it's not safe. Try to convince one of your friends to be open-minded and give your band of choice a try. They may actually like it!

Rock on, Chic. Have fun. I'd go with you if I lived closer. I love all kinds of music and suffer through many sucky things for my friends...if they really cared they would. ;-) My fiance is in the navy. I know how you feel.

Nuh why do you care? You ain't gonna be the only one who goes to concerts, ball games or whatever by themselves.

People need some lone time too.

No, not at all. Go to the concert and have a blast. Nothing wrong with that. I'm overseas too, wish I could go. LOL. Best of luck to you..........

No, it makes you a loser if you don't go, and everyone else did, and you can't say you did, and I'm pretty sure you'll meet someone who likes the same band that's playing(such as other people who decided to go!) and you'll be good...
There is no such f****** thing as cool, anyways, just yourself.

Go and enjoy. That never makes you a loser. Not going would make you loose a great evening.

I've been to see several when I was a teen. Quite often I would bump into people I would know and hang out with them.
