Let's say the whole system changed, no corporate big bucks to buy campaigns with, but anyone could run equally with anyone else. So, who would you vote for? And why? What would they bring to this world? How would they deal with war and terroism, crime, poverty, sexism/racism, environmental issues (this is a biggie cause if our world goes so do we people). Okay...let's hear it!

Dick Cheney! He's soooo smart, cool, calm, laid back. He started as an apprentice electrician and is self made. Too bad about his heart.

Second choice: Laura Bush. She could just ask George when she had a decision to make.

Not many people alive that I would love to see in office. Several people from the past...but alas. If I could pick someone, it would be Jeb Bush. He's twice the man his brother is, and he's proven it for the past several years as governor of the great state of FL. He has not only provided incredible answers without raising taxes, he's balanced the budget, and done so while staying in the good graces of most of Florida's citizens - Republican or Democrat. A staunch conservative, he still knows how to handle people, articulate his views, interpret the role of government, and maintain his moral fiber. What a man!

jon stewart - tells it like it is, very smart and informed, plays well with others. that's all you need to be a better than average president. plus he makes it fun and interesting to hear about terrible news.

he has a very balanced approach to understanding and dealing with the big issues. he reads and talks to other smart people to form his opinions. i don't know how he would handle the issues mentioned specifically, but i would trust him to make good decisions. and i would trust him to make friends with other world leaders so that more diplomatic solutions could be reached.

No one. The system is corrupt, and can not be changed. Doesn't matter who it is, if you don't play the corporate-political game after you're elected, you'll be ground into hamburger. (Such as President Carter was by his own party.)

It's time for a overhaul, Thomas Jefferson-style.
