Love is the feeling of caring and wanting to be with a person no matter what they've done, no matter what the circuimstances are, you still want that person. Even if it goes against everything that should be, you still want to be with that person... That's what love is... And why it hurts so much when it leaves...

But I will agree, it's better to have loved than never to have loved at all, it just hurts a lot...

It's that gooey feeling in your tummy when you see that special person. It's also getting up 11 times a night, every night, when your baby cries. It's looking after your husband / wife / partner when they've had a stroke and they can't go to the toilet on their own any more. It's what makes us human. It's what keeps us going when the world seems so full of horror and war. If we don't have love, what do we have?

LOVE is cleaning your other halfs toe nails out of the bath.

LOVE is discovering your other half has used your toothbrush instead of their own.

LOVE is going to the toilet and your other half walking in with the phone in their hand, they pass it to you.. saying 'your boss wants to speak to you.'

LOVE is your other half using the last of the milk up for their breakfast, and leaving none for you.

LOVE is your other half laying across the sofa, not willing to budge their legs, and leaving you to sit on the cold floor.

LOVE is washing the dishes, drying and putting them away. And then your other half, just then walks in with their dirty dish.

LOVE is discovering as you left the room to do something, to then return in the room of where the channel has been hopped to a stupid sci-fi program.

Everyone experiences love differently, love for you may not reflect any of the answers given here.

The only way to understand love is to be in love, then you will know.

you will know when it comes, just don't confuse it with sex, love lasts longer. for me, love means no sacrifice is to great an nothing is too much trouble, when everything i do is with my man in my mind. love is the silly things that words nor gifts can say. i hope you find it, no, I'll change that, you cant find love, it finds you. xx
