The US was the only country to veto the condemnation, but because it has so much power the vote only needed the US to veto in order to kill it. I have never heard of the US ever condeming Israel actions. How rediculous does it have to get?

Isreal is the only US ally in the Middle East. To lose there support would be to lose a foot hold in the Middle East. So we support all of there actions no matter what plain and simple. And it really doesn't matter how ridiculous it gets because most Americans don't know or care whats going on.

Think for a minute...Aren't we a "Christian" nation? Given that fact and the fact that we COVER for EUROPES Christian nations that haven't Veto power than how could we ever condemn the Crusaders? Yes that is exactly what I said the Jews and Arabs are being exploited by the Western (Christian) nations. Allowing them to war and bicker weakens both of them and at some point the Christian armies will muster and march on Jerusalem. That's the bottom line...surprising that the Jews who are supposedly pretty bright don't see this and get their Arab bretheren to unite with them against the West. Oh well at least we're not in a WWIII situation yet. PEACE!

ah 4 other countries Abstained from voting, and the resolution laid it all on Israels door. They did not start this, either in Gaza or Lebanon. They are reacting to having war declared on them. I hope they destroy Hezbollah and Hamas once and for all.
