Its informative to look at what we're actually dealing with. We've observe an approximate 1 degree F. rise in yearly average surface temperatures over the entire globe....in the last 100 years. Ocean levels have risen 3 or 4 inches in the last 50 years - almost all due to thermal expansion, not glacial melt.

That's pretty small stuff.

100 years from now? You'll probably see fewer valley glaciers, the ocean will probably rise somewhere between 6 inches and a foot. Even assuming 2 degrees of warming in the next 100 years, that's still pretty small.

To the extent that sea surface temperatures increase, the potential maximum intensity of tropical cyclones may increase marginally. That doesn't mean we'll have more hurricanes or even that on-average their strength will increase.

Global warming is a farce. In the 80's, it became a huge deal because some "researcher" made some unfounded claims that the Earth average temperature has risen 5 degrees in the last hundred years and that it would rise 10 in the next 20 years...

This caused a stir and controversy. Sure, the Earth has heated slightly. About half a degree average since the 70's. Which on a global scale is a huge change. However, the Earth is what houses what we call "nature" and therefore is natural in and of itself. Everything that is natural (and even some things that are not) move in cycles. The Earth's climate is no different. The average temperature waxes and wanes just like the moon and its cycles. It gets hotter and it gets colder.

The fact of the matter is, man's contribution to Earth's heating is minimal at best. Sure CFC's and all the other pollutants we put into the atmosphere definitely have an effect as carbon traps the Sun's rays, and thereby traps heat. But there is no way that we have produced enough to create as big of a climate shift as some scientists claim. There are over 6 billion people on this planet right now all breathing in air, and creating carbon dioxide. The average person breathes in about 500 mL (half liter) of air with a normal breath. Of that, about the same is exhaled with about an 16% CO2 concentration by volume (air is about 70%nitrogen/20% oxygen/10% other stuff). So we're looking at approx. 80 mL per person of CO2 per breath. We take an average of 21,600 breaths a day. That is 1728 Liiters of CO2 we eject into the atmosphere a day per person. Multiply that by 6 billion.

Yeah, I'll let you do the math on that one. (We're not counting the countless other air breathing-CO2 creating living machines on this planet which greatly outnumber humans by the way.)

So, in essence if humans are the ones causing so-called global warming, its not our technology or our pollution; it is simply our existence on this planet.

No, "global warming" is simply a way for politicians to spout and cause a stir so they can seem environmentally minded, when they have no mind for the environment.

Remember the planet moves in cycles, and someday this planet will inevitably die. Global warming will not cause it... however, humans may yet be the demise of life on this planet. We as humans have amazing ingenuity and incredible technological futures, but we also have a dark side which will either make or break us as a race of beings on this beautiful planet of ours.

In fifty years everything will be ok, because Christ will be here in 5 or 6 years and before that during the tribulation the world will go through unimaginable things...power will be given unto the sun to scorch the earth (ozone layer will get worse) there will be earthquakes in divers places (the latest tsunami was the result of an earthquake) a third part of trees was burnt due to the smoke the fire and brimstone (atomic warfare) all these things ARE to come so if something tells you that you do believe in the word of god then email me and i can help you understand what else is to come if you don't recieve christ...get ready he's coming soon

50 years from now there will be no fossil fuel... thereby no more additional global warming... but the curing of the earth by itself would take thousand of years... so i guess, people would be planting trees!!!
