My mother's culture had the belief that, as souls, we are matched with one person and then each are placed on earth at different times, in different places. Then its up to each of them to find one another. I'm not sure if I believe it, but its incredibly romantic.

EVERYONE is a big word, I would say no. Maybe for the majority of people it's true, but not for EVERYONE. Also there seems to be more women then men in the world, so this could not be true as well; unless they are lesbians.

I'm not sure about that. If that were so, things would be set up in a way that the person who was made for you would turn up at a place you were at a convenient time to "hook up". I've only heard about this happening a few times.

Yes, but I don't think there is a Mr. or Ms. Right. I used think there was one person for everyone. Now I believe you make your happiness when you find someone compatible.

I believe not...I highly doubt that people are custom made before birth to suit such logic... If this is a matter of love and all, I think it is rather adaption to your affection rather than predetermined bonding....
