maybe something about life etc. that was full of wonder and mystery to you as a child but then you grow up and find out the facts about it......and yet that thing still holds a certain mystery for you. It's grasped intellectually but that factual knowing hasn't diminished the wonder of it.

I know God is real, yet he is still mysterious.
I know our brains can absorb so much information and store our thoughts and memories while at the same time regulate the functions of our bodies, but how all that happens up in there I do not comprehend.
Babies being born.
The Speed of Light.
How people still consume at Wal-Mart and McDonald's even with what has been exposed.

Life it's self. Even though I live it everyday, something happens that seems to amaze me.
The other thing would probably be the mysteries of thought. I'm pretty familiar with how the brain works, but how does your conciousness occur? Why do we understand things the way we do?

which way do nails grow from? i know it's the root
but if it's the root, then how come it doesn't hurt cos the entire nail has to move down
and if it's the tip, then how come if i make a mark near the root of the nail, it eventually moves toward the tip :)

Animations! I know that they are only moving pictures. But they seem so real to me... pictures that move & cry & laugh & live... so magical... they can't be just moving pictures, they are so much more than that.
