My husband and I picked out the rings together. He also talked to my parents about us getting married before he proposed, but I didn't know when he was going to propose or how. He still was able to surprise me by really thinking about how to be creative and make the proposal memorable. And it took the pressure off because he knew for sure that I would say "yes"!

I don't think you should be with him when he purchases the ring...it is ok to go look with him, that way he knows what you like. But let him surprise you with it when and how he wants.

Go together to look at rings, but not to buy them. Let him do that alone. But it is a great idea to let him know what you would like. Then once he buys it he can actually give it to you in a romantic way. That is what I did with my wife before we got married.

just let him do it himself, if you plan it for him it wont be as special. tell him to go on yahoo answers and find out how ;) we'll give him ideas. and my husband and i purchased my ring together.. he just kept it for a while until he was ready to propose. it was still memorable. :)

YOU CAN PICK IT OUT TOGETHER BUT THEN HE SHOULD TAKE THE RING AND PICK A SPECIAL EVENING AND A SPECIAL WAY TO GIVE IT TO YOU, SOMETHING THAT WOULD SURPRISE YOU.
