Has their condition improved, or is it the same old same old?

Ukraine and Belarus are already independent sovereign states. Do you really think that by designating a somewhat concentrated ethnic population in one area as an "Autonomous Republic", that is really gave them autonomy?

*laughs* Many minorities still call officials by their old Soviet titles. Why? Because Russia is as brutal as she always was, its just they can buy Mcdonalds now, so it must be Democratic.
