Well, *they* seem to think it was pinkish/orange and lived underwater. Nice picture.

likely white, which is the color that isn't really a color (color of nothing as opposed to the color black, which is the color of everything) since the first flower hadn't yet evolved to require attraction of bees, defend against bugs, etc.

It was probably a da** crocus, they're always the first to bloom...so I say purple.
