It would be nice to see ANY woman run for president. I have to say this for those who are against her.. she can't screw up any worse then the numbskull already in charge......

I agree she is a very intelligent person. So is Bill Clinton, but look what they did to him for what I would consider a mere peccadillo and nobody else's business. I just don't know any candidate that can tell the right wing fundamentalists, the influential rich, the oil lobbyists, the for-profit environmental polluters, the automobile industry, and so forth, to go take a flying leap and still get elected. I'd hate to see Hillary have to lower her standards just to get anything done. If she does run for office, I'll definitely root for her. Unfortunately, it is fair to say that this country, like every other country, is male dominated -- it would be easier for a woman to "pass through the eye of a needle" than get elected president. Maybe things will change in the future -- one can only hope.

As a liberal (fairly moderate though, more a liberal as in "let people run their own lives"), I would have to say, I don't trust Hillary enough to vote for her. A lot of her voting has been a bit too right of center lately for my tastes, especially when it came to preemption and Iraq. I don't know if its because she is letting her advisors chose her positions for her or what, but I can't really trust what a lot of the talk has been about her.
Obama, I would support without a second thought. Even Biden, but Hillary seems a bit too soft when it comes to the hard decisions.
Now, that said, if the vote were between her and a W clone, hands down I would vote for her, but I hope there will be a decent candidate this next time.

The only rub which is going to be an issue for Hillary is that she is said to support the invasion of Iraq; however, I have yet to find validation on that stance outside the speech given in October of 2002. If she runs, and is nominated, I will support her run for the office, and if she is elected, I will "try" to support her presidency. It is worth serious consideration. Just for the record, I have written her offices, and asked her to run for the sake of the people of the United States. We will see what happens. She does capture the imagination as far as possibilities goes.

I have a brain and I surely do not think she would make a "good" president. Look what they did last time. White water scandal, travelgate, attempt to bring down our health care system, increase welfare dependency, savings and loan scandals,. If you remember The USS Cole? The two US embassy bombings in Africa, Somalia (They put our troops under a foreign commander for the first time in our history). The increase in SUV's. Cut our intelligence spending. The list goes on and on..... Oh Yeah and something about a blue dress

My old shrivelled-up brain used to command a lot of respect, and I believe that Hillary Clinton is the worst thing that has happened to our country in the past generation, other than Bill Clinton of course. Fortunately, so many people on both sides of the aisle have no use for her and will work to defeat her that your question is moot.

Maybe America can kill two birds with one stone. Hillary can be President with Bill as White House aid, and the Neocons will move out of the Country.....That will be a great day.

I'm a dem and don't think it would work. She is very polarizing and wonder if she could get anything done (even if SHE DID get elected). Of course, then Bill would also be back in the picture.
She certainly couldn't deal with all of them (nobody can). Some problems in the world are a result of generations and hundreds of years of actions/inaction.

No she wouldn't. It would be business as usual, just without all the arrogance and invasions.
Hillary is as much of a corporatist as any other politician in DC. She's no liberal, and abandons anyone and anything when they've served their political usefulness.
The corporations would still get their hand outs and kick backs, the poor would still go without, and the middle classes would still be pitted against one another via the mass media machine.

Basically what BarronVonUnderbeiht wrote.
And I'm increasing feeling that she won't get the nomination, anyway. The anti-war sentiment in this country is likely strong enough to prevent it. She miscalculated.
"Intelligent people only" That's funny. :) Most people who believe they're intelligent, actually aren't.
