i have a 95 honda accord coupe 5speed, and it sometimes gives up on me, has low milage because only 80k but a rebuild title. my mothers friend wants to sell me a 94 mercury cougar with a V8 and its in very good condition and it's just sitting in her driveway because she can't drive no more because of health reasons. the only thing i have in mind are the gas prices and the compsumption of gas in the two diffent engines.

Yes... contrary to popular belief... American cars are more reliable than that of Japans... plus V8s run a lot smoother than 4 cylinders. I'd say your self-esteem should boost too ;)

you gotta pay the cost to be the boss
gas prices are high...get over it!
get a geo if'n your're that worried about gas mileage
otherwise go for the comfort...be good to yourself!
