My friend thinks i should have a boyfrend i broke up with my other one. But do i need one.

I don't think its a issue that you need one... i think its because its the norm to have one and because ur friend is telling you to get one. My recommendation is that if you just broke up with your former boyfriend, you should let some time elapse before you rush into another relationship, as issues that affected the other may come up in the new one and if you haven't fully got over your ex, then you'll rate your boyfriend off your ex's behaviour whether good or bad. Girl, i sure your special and although i'm a guy, you don't need a guy to survive, enjoy life first and appreciate yourself for the great person you are then when you are ready go get a relationship that your happy in. ps don't be in a relationship your unhappy in just to be in a relationship, no matter who you are, you deserve the best.

Whether or not you have a boy friend is your decision. Do not let anyone else push you into finding a boyfriend.
Sometimes you need time to see what went wrong and right with your other one before you go rushing into another relationship.
I do not know your age, but do not rush at any age.

No, you don't need one. Don't let your friends pressure you into something like that (assuming it's something you don't want). If you don't want to be in a relationship and you try to FORCE yourself into one...that's probably not going to work out!
Don't think EVERYone has boy/girlfriends, either! I've gone 25 years without and wouldn't have it any other way (Oh, and I've turned people down, too. It's not a crime to say 'no' if you don't want to be in a relationship)!

A boyfriend is not something you should 'have', like health insurance. You should be with a guy because you enjoy spending time with him and want to get to know him better. If you get a boyfriend for the social acceptance, you are nothing better than a desperate, attention-seeking whore (which will lead to bad habits and broken relationships throughout your life).

geeez, i thought u like dat other dude, Why'd u break of w/ the first one if he was "so cute", was he treatin u bad er somethin? I say u should go get w/ da other guy dat was diggin u. But he should come after u, w/in the next couple of weeks, just don't commit too fast or you'll reali piss of yer ex, cause u just broke up..what 2 days ago? one?

Angel it is your choice of having a boyfriend and not your friend. Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion but at the end of the day "you" have the last say on what you want and don't want. Think about it Angel, take it from me I had alot of friends who told me what i needed from what i didn't so i know from experience.

it's ur choice not ur friends and if she can't understand that then she isn't a very good friend.if u just broke up with him u should probably wait a while before getting a new one.takes time.
