I agree. The reasons we gave were bogus. We are way too one-sided on this issue.

No. Israel is utterly surrounded by nations that want her “Completely wiped off the map” and who would only celebrate in the eradication of the Jewish People. We cannot stand by and let nations allow terrorism, or we risk undermining the entire effort since 9/11. Innocent civilians are dead on BOTH sides; there are no innocent players. Israel is fighting for her life and her livelihood, striking strategic targets (Beirut Airport runways in order to prevent the Captives being flown to Iran, etc.) Israel has no help from Liberal Europe, who has no interest in helping Israel, or the rest of the world, save the US. The US did the right thing

HAHA! Maybe if you knew the history between these countries you wouldn't think that. Isreal has been taking **** from them for HUNDREDS of years. Its about time they fought back. I think you need to re-read your sources. oh, and by the way Isreal is part of hte UN so why would the be condemed for protecting their country?

I agree with your opinion, but I wouldn't share my thoughts with any of my Jewish friends. All the dead innocent Muslims for 3 soldiers who willing committed to serve their country. It's disgraceful.

i know! Israel is WAY overusing their power. as long as the US govmt is biased towards israel and biased against arabs, there will be no progress in the middle east.
PS TO BILL: IN CASE YOU DIDNT KNOW, HEZBOLLAH KIDNAPPED THE MEN. ISRAEL HAS JUST BOMBED AN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT IN LEBANON WHICH IS NOT A TERRORIST SITE. HEZBOLLAH IS NOT A PART OF THE LEBANESE GOVERNMENT. SO THEN IT IS PERFECTLY REASONABLE TO LAUNCH A BUNCH OF MISSLES AT LEBANON. ISRAEL IS TRYING TO OVERPLAY THIS INCEDENT SO THAT THEY CAN ATTACK LEBANON, WEAKEN IT AND THEN INVADE IT.

If we had passed it, it would make us look like complete hypocrites, seeing as how we're rolling through the mid east stomping on everything as we go.

It might be overkill, but I doubt that any of the three kidnapped soldiers feel that way.

Have you lived there? As a citizen of Israel?

i think it's insane. to make a very simple analogy it kind of reminds me of my friends dog. she is a 13 year old cocker spaniel with no teeth. however, she feels justified in taking in great danes, pit bulls, rotties, etc because she knows that she has my dog as backup. she knows she can start whatever fight she wants and my dog will finish it for her. i think we should let israel fight their own fight now that they started it just like i now won't let my dog be backup for my friends dog. very simple, but you get my point.
