hot water, squeeze of lemon/or lime depending on your taste, spoonful of honey and a large whiskey. This needs to be followed with a large rubbing on the chest and back with Vicks Vapour Rub. Finally a drop or two of Olibus oil on your pillow or PJ's and that my dear should send you off to sleep and your cold should bugger off too! For good measures take a couple of paracetamols before you go to bed. Sleep tight hun !

Hi, Lemsip max i recently got a cold and took these and it went the next day and it did the same for a lot of my family to. But if you dont like them, alot of steam with olbas oil or vapour rub put in the water does good. If none of that works take paracetamol every 4 hours and get plenty of rest and drink lots of water.

Buy Airborne! I used it when I started getting a cold, and it lasted about 2-3 days, not 2-3 weeks! It was wonderful!

The only thing that works is zinc supplementation. It cuts the length of time you are sick, roughly in half. That is about as effective as treatment of a bacterial infection with antibiotics. This was proven recently in research published in the New England Journal of Medicine.

I agree with willows but my grandma used to give us one when we were sick. We call it a hot totty. Hot tea, honey and lemon. O yea and the best part was the Crown or whatever whiskey or bourbon you have. It will have you up and going in no time.

Buy some Theraflu. It doesn't taste good but it works wonders. You can get it at any local drugstore.
