I think Foley served his purpose! He may not have been the best wrestler technically, but he came to entertain and that's what he did and still does! The Rock was a big star and he was definitely not a sound wrestler. There are very few technical wrestlers...Kurt Angle, Benoit, Lashley, Shelton Benjamin...Shawn Michaels.

he's easily between the perfect wrestlers accessible. Mick Foley became by no potential going to be the subsequent Bret Hart or Dean Malenko, yet he surely took benefit of what skills he did have: arising and taking creative, impressive bumps. Foley surely had the thoughts to structure a adventure completely to get the most out of those large strikes, and utilized his large adventure psychology and promoting to inform a narrative with each and each and every new bypass. even as the acute bumps drew contained in the casual fan, the tale behind each and every adventure is what made Mick Foley such an mind-blowing wrestler and faraway from a glorified stuntman.

While I can see where you are coming from with this question, I would have to say that I think that Mick Foley is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He makes up what he lacks in wrestling skills with determination and the ability to continue a match after any injury. His hell in a cell match against the undertaker has to be ranked as one of the greatest matches of all time.

Cant stand Foley. He is a big baby as far as I'm concerned and just a whiner. Stunt man? Huh. Cant even give him that. He is a big fake is more like it. hate his appearances.

Has anyone besides Sabu taken more punishment and did crazier moves than him?
If you knew the specialty matches he went through in Japan, you would be shocked.
Add to this that punishment he took during the first Hell in the Cell match...
through a table.
through the top of the cage 20 feet below, his tongue sticking out from a hole in his chin,
carried by stretcher, came back out, only to be dropped on tacks.

How would your body take that?

As much as I used to be a big fan of this guy, he is a stuntman. But I still respect him for what he does when hes outside the ring.
