I have looked and looked and I cannot find a middle name for a girl that I like. First name is going to be Izobella, last name Davenport. I kinda wanted something with one or two syllables. Something to tone down the longness of the first and last names.
I may be rushing it because I won't find out the sex until next week.

Thank you jagon but I know what the name will be if it is a boy. So that is no problem.

First of all Izobella is ugly. Not the way it sounds, just the spelling. It looks like the name of a car or something...don't put her through that. She'll never find anything with her name on it and kids will make fun of her. Here's my suggestions:

Isabella Josephine
Isabella Sydney
Isabella Mariah
Isabella Olivia

Please don't spell it Izobella, why put your child through that torture?

I would advise using the standard spelling for Isabella. The vanity spellings lead to very frustrated children and teachers down the line, as the child is forced to spell their first name over and over again. I have seen several children literally in tears because they were not old enough to be understood clearly for the adults involved trying to get their names spelled correctly. My son's kindergarten class had several Katelins, all spelled a different way.

Your child will be unique and special because of the person they were born to be, not because their parent's decided to burden them with some strangely spelled first name. Try ParentCenter.com for a list of names and meanings.
