Without knowing what you are referring to I can't agree or disagree.
The problem is probably what you see as good, us liberals might not see as good also. See? For example, ppl who claim the Iraqi war is a good thing. We disagree.
I am always willing to give credit where credit is due... as long as it is something I agree is a 'good'

"I am not now saying, nor have I ever said, that America hasn't made its share of mistakes but I am saying that we have done much more good than bad in the world. I am saying that America has learned from its mistakes and that America still stands for freedom."
That's a matter of perspective.
It depends on which end of the gun you're at.

Well, this is part of debate. If you say potayto, I need to say pahtahtoe. Try starting with pahtahtoe and see what happens. Instead of focusing on what you perceive to be liberals, try focusing on just the issue. For example, your implication that this land is free because of brave people defending it. I agree. But do you also believe that they are defending this land now, or someone else's land? I would rather them stay here and defend us. Of course, that is more middle of the road. What do you think? You try to be critical for a change and see if you can see another view point.

It is called critical thinking and is not the proprietary domain of either party. If you are participating in something you think is the "right thing" most criticism of that activity will be construed as "negative", "unfair", etc. Freedom is a right and is protected by constitutional law. Your point is that liberals, who disagree by criticism of your position, are wrong and that your position is the correct one and should not be argued. American politics are twisted enough with a two party system, would you prefer a one party system that is not accountable to its citizenary and our rights of free speech to disagree with the presiding government.?

If the "libs" ever take control of the White House and the Congress (they are not in control of either one right now), then you can be sure that their negativity will turn into positivity real quick.
Did you know that the very liberal NY Times put its American flag at half-staff when al-Zarqawi was killed?
I'm just joking -- there is no American flag at the NY Times!!!

Libs always want to point out the negative in order to take the spotlight away from how rediculous they are about issues. Just look at Michal Morre's propaganda & his movies & now he's being sued because it's all fabricated. Let them all go live in another country and see if it's any better, Pleeeeeze!

Probably because most liberals disagree with you. They believe that as of right now, America is causing more HARM in the global community than they are good.
Sidenote: Please don't use the abbreviation "lib". I'm a libertarian, and I don't like being confused with liberals.

Have you ever provided an example of any of your generalizations?
No.
Pointing out a problem is not the same as bad-mouthing your country. And criticizing the President isn't the same as criticizing the country. Criticizing Republicans is not the same as criticizing the country. Criticizing you is not the same as criticizing the country.

ive noticed. liberals dont seem to think there is anything wrong with cheating on your wife, or lieing either, unless you are a republican, then its awful. and they are all gay supporters. and they say you cant legislate morality, because just because the bible and torah say that being gay is wrong, and adultry is wrong, and lying is wrong, that doesnt mean that our govornment should have the ability to say its wrong, because its not like the bible and torah hold the oldest laws existing and have the basis for virtually every law in existance in a good ol free country like the US of A

Just so everyone can read the actual definition of 'liberal.'
--Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.
Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.--
Does a free country invade it's citizens privacy through wire-tapping, phone record and bank transaction audits?
The U.S. isn't supposed to do that Gestapo-type crap.
