Well, I know I have a true God,you probly never even been in a TRUE Holy Ghost filled church before. You have probly seen some of the liers on TV that say you can make it to heaven by sinning all the time, just as long as you believe in Jesus. You HAVE TO obey His Word.
A really much more suitable question is "Why do people make excuses for God not to exist?" like for instance, evolution theory has been exepted by nearly every school in America but has abosoluty no evidence that we came from monkeys. You can disprove every theory but that God exist. The Bible is the only religous writing that proves itself Historical without contraticting itself. And if God decided this second to strike me dead, He is still God and I would still worship Him.Earthly success or health was NOT His promise, but His promise was eternal life for those who obey Him.Why don't you try going to a Holy Ghost filled Apostolic church sometime?I garrantee that if that church is doing what the Bible says, you WILL feel the power of the true God.

Nope, the nature of something supernatural is impossible to define in scientific or logical terms. Therefore it is impossible to prove. You can largely prove that the "evidences" of a higher power, being natural disasters, seemingly good luck or good fortune are mostly just chances that you could statistically prove.
For example, while the chances are slim there are some people in this world born: Tall, Blonde, Intelligent and Rich; it doesn't mean that god shined his light on them it just means that out of X population Y people will fit said description.
So no, I don't.

What about ghosts, hauntings, etc.? I guess the idea is that if we knew god existed then life would no longer be a test of faith.

Who ya been talking to? I don't think you want to know. If you did, by now, evidence would've been VOLUMINOUS. It isn't a charge to make you believe. Specially today. It's on you.
