Really? I mean, I respect your opinion and all, I just don't understand it.

No, I don't think there will be a Smiths reunion.
Why? Because Morrissey has made statements to the effect of not really caring what anyone thinks or wants, and I assume that this means the fans, too. He has a long history of 'this will be done my way or not at all', and so that probably means no reunion.

He shafted Mike Joyce out of royalties and was forced to pay up in court, too...and there has been a bad history between him and Marr as well.

Sorry.

My favorite Morrissey-related quote:
"If Morrissey says don't eat meat, then I'll eat meat, because I hate Morrissey". - Robert Smith of The Cure

Sorry.

this will never happen...Marr doesn't want to...the lawsuit strained all relationships...money is just NOT the reason for this..it is soo much more than just money...you have to believe that if Kraftwerk, New York Dolls, and Bauhaus can get back together and The Smiths cannot...there are definitely reasons beyond money..
