That is a good question. I'd like to know who made that up

Because a lot of what Americans believe in and how our ideas of morality and laws and thnking are patterned after the bible. The bible has implied that darkness beholds bad things that would otherwise be shameful to be seen in the daylight. Therefore, people also associate these ideas with wearing black clothing (Especially for young women) and other things. I don't care what the bible says because I don't believe in that stuff and it is corrupting America.

Not everything black is portrayed negative.

positive in: math,buisness, fav color, paint, chalkboards, it goes with everything, typing, clubwear, paper

negative in: the culture of rock, some of people with darker skin, nail polish, lipstick, and others

It depends on how you look at it.

I've often wondered that. I feel it reflects more religiously than anything; including but not limited to racial stipulations. However this negative connotation has no boundaries.

i don't think so. bill cosby. hallie berry. black enterprise magazine, MLK. so many things that are black are very positive.
like the 100 black men and the alphas and the masons
and lots of things. maybe it is prevalent, and maybe you are
also sensitive to it.

thats just the way of the world. get use to it. u shouldnt worry about how others view blacks, u just make sure u're happy with what u doing
