If this could actually be done, I think the numbers would be something like this:

A total mass of approximately 120 billion pounds, spread over an area approximately 12 miles by 12 miles (assuming the people are not stacked on top of each other).

I would think that this would create a significant tsunami, but not as large as the 2004 tsunami in Asia, which gives one a sense of how large the forces must have been to generate that tsunami.

But that's just my guess.

If we Chinese jumped into the ocean, we'd split up and half of is swim to America and overpopulate that country instead, while the other half go back to China, be proud that they jumped into the ocean and survived, and then dare all the America to do the same.

Not sure what the result would be, but anyway they would all have to weigh the same, jump from the same height at the same time and in the same time zone, and land with the same force and at the same angle. There would probably also have to be regularity in the ocean floor level beneath each person as well as the tide.

It depends on how they "jumped in". If they all stood on a giant platform, then no. You couldn't get enough China men to displace enough water at one time to do so. However, if you could form all of them up into a 6 billion part ball and drop that into the ocean then I suppose they could displace enough water to cause a tsunami.

No, it would create a gigantically massive mass suicide, due to the fact that Chinese people don't seem to take to swimming so well.

Question would be whether the Chinese coastline is long enough so that every Chinese has a spot to jump.

Number one that's not racist whoever said that, it's just that the Chinese have the worlds largest single population.

Number two, sorta depends on how they went in, but I reckon it could be done.
