I went through all of my childhood without a single broken bone; and then made up for it when I got older! I went roller skating and took a bad fall and fractured my right forearm in three places and smashed my elbow. They had to put my arm in a cast for the fractures and my elbow had to be in a "L" shape; so I had to wear a sling for the longest time. I am right-handed and I never knew how difficult everything could become. I even had to have help just using the bathroom...and it was very embarrassing. You can't believe all the people that came out of the woodwork to tell me to "act my age"...it was my own fault. That's just plain nuts. You are never too old to be out there and do fun things. If I had to do it all over again; I would...just because of the comments. 'You only live once.'

I'm a total klutz, but I'm one lucky sonofabitch. I've never broken anything or required stitches. The only reason I didn't get stitches was cuz of this glue and these funky bandages. The worst injury I ever got was when I got pretty close to severing the tip of my middle finger. The bone stopped the mower blade, but it was at such an angle that it took out 3/4ths of my fingertip. And for ther record, the mower wasn't on, I was spinning it to get some oil to clear out of the cylinder via the spark plug hole. It was stupid, but not as stupid as it sounds.

I broke my finger once, climbing an exhibit of the human body. My finger got twisted somewhere in the veins between the heart and the lungs. It never healed right, and eight years later I can't move it on its own.
I've also broken my nose. I was on the swing and I decided to jump off like a bird and I did and I landed flat on my face, with some mulch up my nose. I broke my nose but that did heal so it's not like I'm Dustin Hoffman or anything.

Never broken anything, and I am 53, neither of my 2 children have broken bones either, and they are grown, pretty lucky, I guess.

Ready? I have broke every finger and every toe at least twice. I broke my wrist, my nose, two ribs, and when I was 15, I broke my lower back. How do you like that one?

I personally have broken my ankle and my right radius and they were both related to childhood injuries on the play ground at school. my daughter on the other hand is dealing with her 28th fracture of her young life. She has broken both femurs (numerous times) and has a telescoping rod in one of them, both tibia's numerous times, her left radius and ulna once and her left elbow twice, and numerous 1st-3rd metatarsal fractures of her feet. 2 of her ribs and that's it but it's enough, she has a genetic condition that causes all of these fractures to occur.
