LMAO! The total mass of all the people on the earth is so small compared to the mass of the earth, this will have exactly NO effect.

In fact, even if the mass of all the people on earth *were* significant compared to the mass of the earth, this would have no effect. People jumping would then change the orbit for a couple of seconds. Then it would go back to what it was.

*giggling uncontrollably*

If you look at the math, it doesn't matter how many people are jumping up and down when you compare it to the energy released when a bomb is dropped.
And after all the wars we have had, we are still in the exact same orbit.

If a person with a truck full of chickens causes all the chickens to fly at the same time, does the weight of the system (truck + air + chickens) change?

No.

So why would people on the earth moving cause the system of people + earth + atmosphere to change in any way?
