My sister in law got permanent eyeliner and it only looked good for about 2 weeks. Then it started to fade and flake, and looked like crap. It finally has all faded out and flaked off (it took about 7 or 8 months or so), and she looks MUCH better without it. There are more options with pencil liner than permanent liner, including how you choose to do it. I personally would never EVER get it done, I like being able to alter what I wear on my face.

You've exposed me as a liar.
I've had several women ask me what I think about their permanent eyes liner?
What I'm really thinking is oh my god how tacky and stupid.
Then I say something nice to be polite. Now that you know the truth I hope you make a good decision.

It all depends on the skill of the person who applies it for you. Some come out great and some out hidious. If your have little lashes, permanent eyeliner can beautify your eyes.

welll the problem i think with permanent eyeliner is that IT'S PERMANENT ahaha what if you didn't wanna have it anymore? and it also fades to like a navy blue ( my aunt had it) it just looks like your eyeliner is all smudged and plus when you get old your eyes sag so it looks even more funny because you have like black circles under your saggy eyes LOL

Permanent eyeliner comes with serious risks. My friend got it and she got an infection! It was expensive to put on and even more expensive to take off.

It depends on what colour you choose.
Black and Blue and last a long time.
Colours like Brown tend to fade in 5 years.

I've heard that their can be complications. I wouldn't do that. It limits you because what if you don't want to look like your wearing eye liner? What if it doesn't go with what your wearing? I think you need to consider all of these things BEFORE you have it done.

Don't be lazy and make a big mistake! do your make-up by hand.
