everybody mixes me and my older sister(10 yrs. older) up and i get aggervated! but ppl say i should be happy to look like my sister! so should this?

It's hard. I have a girlfriend that is 4 years older then me and when we used to go to bars, guys would come up to us and ask if she was my mom. She would get PISSED! If I were you, I'd be a little ticked. Just hope that as she gets older, she starts to age really fast and you hold strong so you end up looking better :)))))

Some people judge based off of maturity level and sometimes the way you carry yourself is mature and they think that you are your older sister. There are other people that do not age well and they just look old. Some old people want to look young, and some young people want to look old. I think if your sister is good looking you shouldn't have any problems. Now if you sister is not so nice looking then you have a right to get aggravated.
However, since you are younger I think your sister is the one that should have the problem with this more than you. Good Luck.

No dont be aggrevated but if you want your own identity do or become something people will only remember YOU for A performance somewhere, write a book of poetry get married (ok not that extreme) throw a fabolous party and dnt tell sis your plans good luck

Been there! I'm 4 years older than my sister. So as far as being mistaken for my younger sister - I don't mind at all (ooh I look younger), now as for her being mistaken for me her older sister - that might bother her (she looks older?). Don't let it bother you, when someone mistakes me for my sister I always say "She wishes she looked this good."

I think every sister in the world goes through this. So what, get over it. My mother still calls me by my sisters name and her by my name.

You will soo get over it, some day you WILL look like her and you will love it (if she is pretty) so don't fret, and some people may just say things to "push your buttons" so don't worry.

They used to tell us that too when we were young, me and my sis. Now we're grown ups and each one looks entirely different.I'm thin, my hair is thin and light and i wear glasses. My sis is fat, white, thick hair and doesn't wear glasses, we're totally different now.
