Hes stupid, as he ducks to avoid the gun being throw at him,
little did superman know that the villian has a second gun and has quickly run around the back of him and shots him in the a***.

Simple. in the movies the bullets are not really there but the prop gun is and would do actual harm to the actor if it were to hit him.

he ducks bcoz the gun`s heavier than the bullets & unlike ttcttcguy said (a gun will kill him) guns don`t kill people ...wappers do.
