This is very likely especially if they are not raised together from birth. Males are just really territorial, and will attack each other for food and space. I have two male mice who are brothers and are like 4-5 months old, and one still attacks the other every day. When I put the food in and every time i change the litter. It is just how males are. You can give it a chance, but you have to be very careful, because they can wound each other very badly.

DON'T put them together!!! Yes they will fight. I have 4 hamsters. I have to put them in individual cages. My aunt has 40 dwarf hamsters and they are all fighting. sometimes my aunt find 1 a week dead because it died for fighting. It is bad. anyhow, get another cage or a small fish tank. :)

Yes males are very territorial, no matter the breed, they will even try to "hump" each other be careful, your best best is to get a divider for the cage or another cage

they should not fight, dwarf hamsters can usually live in harmony with each other. golden hamsters (the larger ones) can be very aggressive though, and you should not put them in the same cage.
